The UnLab is taking part in Culture Days this weekend, from 10am – 4pm on Sept. 28, 29 and 30. New UnLab Operations Manager.
I am pleased to announce that effective immediately Wess Thornton has been appointed as UnLab Operations Manager replacing myself as I have now moved onto the UnLondon Board. Wess will be responsible for the day to day items in the lab as well as a point of contact between the facility and UnLab members for purposes of arranging doors to be open and answering general questions about the UnLab. UnLab Open Nights Return
We are restarting the semi regular open nights at the UnLab. We are going to start this Thursday June 28th from 7-9:30pm and will do this every 2 weeks.
Clean up day–Moved to October 15th
Our semi annual Cleanup Build / Purge day is almost upon us. Saturday Oct 1st. 10am – 4pm. Saturday Oct 15th 10am – 4pm. This is the day where we go though the lab and dispose / recycle equipment we no longer have a need for as well as undertake larger building projects. Unlab Open Nights
We’ve decided that since we are getting lots of folks doing cool things on Wednesday nights, it will become the official Unlab open night. Every Wednesday (except the 1st of the month when we all go to Geek Dinner) the doors to the Convergence Centre and the Unlab will be open from 7pm-9:30pm for interested people to drop by and see what we are all about. Code Jam at the UnLab
