From the inbox: Sooncon is the annual southern Ontario conference for makers and hackers running since 2009. As usual we’ve got talks, show and tell, and a party. Looks like lots of people had plans for the 1st so we are rescheduling the cleanup day. Our semi annual Cleanup Build / Purge day is almost upon us. Saturday Oct 15st. 10am – 4pm. This is the day where we go though the lab and dispose / recycle equipment we no longer have a need for as well as undertake larger building projects. Items this time. 2 desk height benches to built for electronic solder workstation. Possible add pegboard to the back of these…

We’ve decided that since we are getting lots of folks doing cool things on Wednesday nights, it will become the official Unlab open night. Foosball Project Kickoff

The project will encompass elements of make, tech and art, so we’ll need a lot of people. Open Night and a visit from Kwartzlab
On July 27th from 7-10pm a group from kwartzlab a hackerspace in Kitchener/Waterloo will be visiting the UnLab. Convergence Centre “closed” Friday June 24, 8am-4pm
The Convergence Centre will be closed for a private function taking place during business hours tomorrow (Friday, June 24) on the first floor, including the main lobby. Parking will also be restricted. If you need to access or exit the UnLab during those hours, you can use the basement entrance on the south side of the building, but you may be best off to work around these hours.
