It only took two years but the UnLab finally has a proper online space to call home. Welcome to www.unlab.ca!

The UnLab is London, Ontario’s hackerspace. Where artists, makers and techies converge so that they can gather, create and improve. It’s a playground for ‘big kids’ like you!

Over the past couple of weeks a group of UnLab/UnLondon members have been working together to put together a site that not only provides information about UnLab related events and hacks but allowed for non-UnLab members to get a better sense of the space, the resources and to most importantly figure out how to become a member.

Now we have a calendar page that actually has a calendar embedded (complete with instruction on how to book the lab), a membership page that actually makes sense and is clear on what you’re becoming a member of, and a page that tells you the way you can contribute to the space.

Shout outs need to go to Jody Bailey, Adam Caplan, Stuart Clark, Titus Ferguson and Jon Pilon for their brainstorming, content creation and coding, and the executive board of UnLondon for pretty much letting us do whatever we wanted.

Speaking of UnLondon, in the coming weeks we hope to have a new ‘temporary’ site up at www.unlondon.ca while a permanent site is worked on, so keep your eyes open.
